About AFSS

In 2010, AFSS developed an accounting software solution for the clients of PMCT Accountants & Consultants (PMCT). The solution was further improved and branded as Absolute Accountancy (AA), offering features for bookkeeping, payroll management, and financial accounts. In collaboration with PMCT, AFSS also developed a Basel Accord Standards and Compliance solution tailored for banks, particularly in emerging markets. From 2012 to 2018, AFSS expanded its offerings by developing 10 additional modules for various industries. Currently, AFSS operates from London and Accra (Ghana), serving African countries and emerging markets.

AFSS History

AFSS Limited was founded in July 2008 by Vincent Santeng with a team of consultants, business analysts, and software developers. Initially, the company operated as a consulting firm, developing customised software solutions for banks and financial firms upon request. After the completion of various projects, Vincent Santeng continued to run AFSS as a proprietary software house and consulting firm from April 2009 onward.

Our Team

The AFSS team comprises software developers, consultants, business analysts, software testers, and trainers. We assign dedicated project teams to each implementation, led by a consultant or account manager, to ensure client-specific requirements are met. Post-implementation reviews are conducted to ensure ongoing client satisfaction. We are committed to expanding and enhancing our team to better serve our clients.

AFSS Scope Coverage

We have a defined scope for our proprietary software products, represented as 'DONE'. However, we are adaptable to clients' requirements and are willing to accommodate them as enhancements. Any new enhancements during implementation are referred to as 'DOING'. We recognise that business requirements and practices evolve, and we anticipate and consider future needs as part of our 'TO DO' enhancements.

Implementation Options

AFSS offers mobile versions of its solutions that can be accessed by users anytime, anywhere. There are three implementation options:

• Self-Hosted: The client hosts the AFSS solutions on their server and manages them, with online support from us.

• Cloud-Based: We provide the server for the client's use, allowing them to access the solutions remotely.

• Managed Cloud-Based: We take full responsibility for managing the solutions in the cloud, providing a comprehensive service to the client. 

About Vincent Santeng

Vincent Santeng, the CEO of AFSS, leads the organisation's market practices and software development initiatives. With over 35 years of experience in software development, Vincent is a highly qualified accountant and a Fellow with ACCA. He holds a PGDIP in business and IT strategy, as well as an MBA from Manchester Business School. Vincent's career has provided him with extensive global exposure across diverse industries and countries in Europe, Africa, North America, South America, and Asia

Banking & Insurance Expert

Vincent Santeng, an investment banker with experience in the City of London, has held diverse roles including trading floor management, business analyst oversight, project management for software implementation, and ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly with the Basel Accord. His expertise as a business analyst and product knowledge has contributed to the design of financial products for banks.

Vincent is a qualified accountant, auditor, and tax expert. He founded PMCT Accounts & Consultants (PMCT) and continues to serve as its CEO and Senior Partner. PMCT has expanded its operations to the UK, Germany, and Ghana. The company is involved in various business interests and offers a wide range of outsourcing services. Vincent has played a key role in defining accounting entries and treatment for financial products.

Developing Software Expert

Software development has been a vital component in the AFSS architecture, encompassing business requirement specification, development, testing, and user documentation. Prior to establishing AFSS, Vincent gained experience working for a prominent global software company in central London. In that role, he held various responsibilities, including overseeing business analysts, pre-sales activities, and account management..

Vincent was engaged severally by banks and financial firms as an expert Consultant for connectivity, financial process flow, compliance, risk management and project management. He has worked as a secondary consultant and advisor for many consulting firms and individuals. As a consultant, Vincent works for entities in the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, and South America. ​
